My Story

 

Travel has always been my favorite form of escape-the feeling of checking into a boutique hotel, opening windows, and letting a new place seep in. One of the reasons I started this candle business was to bottle that energy! The scents, the mood, the quiet luxury of being someplace new and exciting. Each scent is designed to take you on a journey...without leaving home. 

Another reason I started this candle business is, well...I love candles!! I used to work at a big box candle store (I won't mention the name) and saw firsthand how these popular candles are made with heavy fragrances and unnecessary chemicals. The more I learned, the less I wanted to burn them in my own home. So I set out on a mission to combine my two passions, travel and candles. I began experimenting with clean-burning candles made from soy wax, they were okay, but not great. After a little research I learned that coconut wax is ideal for a clean, slow, and non-toxic burn with superior scent throw. And beeswax candles actually release negative ions that bind to airborne particles like dust, pollen, and mold, helping to purify the air we breathe. Coconut beeswax candles  are the best of both worlds, blending the purity of beeswax with the luxury of coconut wax. And just like that, Coco Beez Candle Co was born!

My vision is to create a modern candle brand where clean ingredients meet effortless luxury. Think reusable vessels, intentional design, clean non-toxic ingredients, and scents that transform everyday moments into stay-awhile experiences. Coco Beez is about slowing down, setting the mood, and bringing a little destination-worthy calm to your home-one scent at a time.
